An Eggscellent Brunch

Eggs are in nearly everything we prepare and eat – we use them in baking, we use them in sauces, we even use them in cocktails, but more than anywhere else, eggs are found on the breakfast table. Probably the single most versatile brunch ingredient, eggs can be prepared in a myriad of ways and are always satisfying, comforting, and oh-so-delicious! Join Doreen Prei and Kathryn Joel for this special brunch class where we’ll be taking the simple egg and teaching you how to transform it. First we’ll look at frittatas, perfect for a prepare ahead brunch, served with a green salad. Then we’ll make our own savoury scones to accompany our seasonal version of an eggs benedict, teaching you how to poach eggs perfectly as well as how to prepare a light and delicious hollandaise sauce. Finally we’ll turn to omelettes: we’ll prepare a seasonal filling and also discuss other options, then you’ll each make your own omelette to finish the class.

Class Fee: $95 per person, plus GST. Your Fee Includes: a 3-hour class, a full brunch with mimosas, and a recipe pack to take home.
