Greek Turkey Sliders

Featuring lean ground turkey, spinach and feta cheese, these Greek turkey sliders are great for a backyard barbecue with family or friends. This recipe is part of our July meal plan.
1 lb 93% lean ground turkey
¼ cup panko bread crumbs
1½ cups baby spinach, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp red onion, finely minced
¼ cup feta cheese, crumbled
½ tsp lemon zest
½ tsp dried oregano
¼ tsp red pepper flakes, optional
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
16 slider buns
¾ cup tzatziki sauce (store bought or homemade)
1 Roma tomato, sliced
1 red onion, thinly sliced
- In a medium bowl combine turkey, bread crumbs, chopped spinach, chopped garlic, minced red onion, cheese, lemon zest, oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Form mixture into 16 small slider patties (about 2 oz per patty). Cook on a lightly greased grill over medium heat until internal temperature reaches 165°F, about 7-10 minutes.
- Place patties on bottom half of slider buns. Top each slider with about 2 tsp Tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato and sliced red onion, as desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
