Craving pizza but don’t feel like making the crust from scratch? Make a bagel pizza! Just take all of your go-to pizza toppings and toss them onto your favourite bagel. In a matter of minutes you can curb that pizza craving with this quick and easy personal sized alternative.
1 whole wheat bagel (or flavour of your choice)
3/4 cup tomato pizza sauce
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Pizza toppings of choice (pepperoni, ham, pineapple, peppers)
- Spread each half of the bagel with pizza sauce.
- Top with cheese and toppings of choice.
- Place the bagel halves on a baking sheet and place under the broiler for 3-4 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Tip: When a broiler isn’t available, microwave for 1 minute or until cheese has melted.
