Three Top Pizza Places in Edmonton
Make sure to eat your crust!
Gooey cheese, crispy crust, tasty tomato sauce… pizza is a classic comfort food for a reason. While we totally advocate for creating your own pizza masterpieces at home (definitely try this sourdough crust sometime), supporting local businesses and getting delicious pizza is a great option for your weekly takeout night. From Neapolitan to New York style pizza, there are some fantastic places to grab a cheesy slice in Edmonton. Check out our favourites below!
1. Tony’s Pizza Palace
Tony’s has been providing Edmontonians with New York style pizza since 1974. With true Italian influence in this family-owned and operated restaurant, you’ll be able to feel that this food is made with love. Try their award-winning pizza with house specials like Jim’s Special Sicilian Pizza which includes two layers of toppings of pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, shrimp, bacon and garlic; or Sal’s Deluxe featuring prosciutto, capicola, marinated tomato sauce and bocconcini cheese.
2. LOVEPIZZA
A husband-and-wife duo started this joint over their love of—you guessed it—pizza! Their signature pizzas aren’t the traditional shape but rather six inches wide by 17 inches long. Signature pizzas include combos like Donair-za with LOVEPIZZA sweet sauce, donair beef, mozzarella, white onion, fresh tomato; or get an Old MacDonald with spicy tomato sauce, fior di latte, Italian sausage, farm fresh egg, spinach, shaved parmesan, and ancho chili oil. They even have dessert pizza for those with a sweet tooth!
3. Rosso Pizzeria
Looking for that traditional Neapolitan slice? Rosso Pizzeria is the place to hit up. They explain themselves with “located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, Rosso is local, organic and always fresh.” Get the classics like Margherita or Soppressata or share with the table and try an antipasti or hand-made pasta.

Thanks to Life’s Simple Ingredient, wheat, for being the perfect base for all of these delicious pizza dishes. Eat up, Edmonton!
