Wheat Germ Smoothie Bowl

This wheat germ smoothie bowl packs a powerful punch of vitamins, antioxidants, fibre and protein. Play around with different combinations of your favourite fruits to keep your breakfast fresh and exciting. To make this recipe vegan, substitute Greek yogurt for a plant-based yogurt of your choice.

Wheat Germ Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients:

1 cup frozen mixed berries of choice

1 banana

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1/4 cup almond or coconut milk

2 tbsp wheatgerm + extra for garnish

10 strawberries, sliced in half

10 raspberries

10 blackberries

1/4 cup blueberries

Directions:

  1. Blend the frozen mixed berries, banana, Greek yogurt, milk, and wheat germ on low until smooth,
  2. Transfer to a bowl and top with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and more wheat germ.
